Rick Ross’ Car Crashes Into Building After Drive-By Attempt [VIDEO]

Miami rapper Rick Ross is feeling with the negative effects of being a boss in the hip-hop game. His Rolls Royce crashed into an apartment building in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after a crew attempted to do a drive-by.

Police have confirmed Rick Ross, real name William Roberts, was in the luxury vehicle at the time the drive-by took place. Ross’ Rolls crashed into the an apartment building on Los Olas Avenue at about five in the morning when several shots rang out. Although the shots were aimed directly at Rick Ross’ car, no one in the car was injured.

NBC6 says no arrests have been made at this time. Witnesses say Rick Ross was out celebrating his birthday at a nearby restaurant called The Floridian before the attempt on his life was made. While the Rolls Royce didn’t crash into the restaurant, it was struck by shots aimed at Ross’ Rolls Royce. Witnesses also say they heard about 15 gunshots.

We’re glad Rick Ross and company weren’t injured. But that’s got to be the worse way to celebrate a birthday. Hopefully it gets better for him as the day goes on.
