Miami Heat player talks about having an abortion in NY Times article

NBA Miami Heat’s Udonis Haslem and his wife were recently profiled on a NY Times article talking about their wedding and the relationship hardships they had to deal with being together. One hardship was the fact that Udonis and his current wife Faith Rein had terminated a pregnancy early in the Miami Heat player’s career when he was a senior player for the University of Florida and she was playing as a junior athlete. Udonis was already a parent from a previous relationship in high school and felt like he could not provide for another child.
