The LEGO Movie in it’s 2nd weekend brought in another $48 million bringing it’s 2 week total to $129 million. That movie cost $60 million to make so needless to say….they good!
Kevin Hart’s About Last Night came in 2nd. Bringing in $27 million in it’s first weekend. This movie cost $12.5 million to make so they definitely turned a profit. Sidebar, his other movie Ride Along is still in the Top 10 coming in at #6. Ride Along brought in $8 million this weekend bringing it’s grand total to *wait for it* $116 million! This movie only cost $25 million to make
Coming in at #3 is Robocop. I swear if it wasn’t for Samuel L. Jackson spazzing on that reporter I would never have known this movie was coming out. In it’s first weekend it brought in $21 million and it cost $100 million to make…yikes!
