Eagles Release Pro Bowl WR Desean Jackson
In a shocking decision the Philadelphia Eagles have released wide receiver Desean Jackson after weeks of trade speculation. Jackson who made the Pro-Bowl last year was due to make 10.5 million in 2014 and was owed $30.5 million over the remainder of his deal. He set career highs in receptions and yards last year with 82 catches and 1,332 yards.
After careful consideration this offseason, Eagles decide to part ways with DeSean Jackson. The team informed him of his release today.
