Nicki Minaj graces the cover of V Magazine’s Winter issue, stomping through the rose garden of her pretend palace in a daring pair of cherry red pumps that we’d give our left kidney for. The headline reads “Her Royal Minajesty Returns,” and we’re still trying to figure out when she left?!

Nicki dons a red Guess dress and matching beret on the cover, showing off her glossy stems and curvaceous silhouette. The “Anaconda” rapper opened up about empowering women, controversy surrounding her image and how she manages to stay true to herself in a male-dominated industry.

“I always feel it’s important for me to show females that they can be in charge of their own situation,” she said. “I came into the game creating my own brand. I was doing things very early on that set me apart from people who just took orders and allowed their brand to be created for them. I love women who take control, who set standards, and who believe in themselves enough to lead the way in terms of their career. I’ve done that. When I win and when I lose.”

As for her rambunctious rapping style, it’s earned her respect from artists who admire her uniqueness. “I always push the envelope, because I’m Nicki Minaj. I have to. No matter who I’m on a song with, I feel like I have to say at least one thing no one else is willing to say. Whether it’s Madonna, Britney, or Beyoncé, they always tell me, ‘Yes. Be Yourself. Talk your sh*t.’”

And for goodness sake, no more questions about her “Anaconda” cover. “You’re talking about newspeople who don’t even know anything about hip-hop culture. It’s so disrespectful for them to even comment on something they have no idea about. They don’t say anything when they’re watching the Victoria’s Secret show and seeing boobs and thongs all day. Why? Shame on them. Shame on them for commenting on “Anaconda” and not commenting on the rest of the oversexualized business we’re a part of.”

Ray J Accused Of Beating Women

All hell broke loose during the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” reunion taping and the cast are still shaken up by it. Just yesterday, it was reported that Ray J’s girlfriend Princess Love attacked his former assistant Morgan Hardman after she claimed Ray physically abused her with Princess there as a witness. After the show was taped, Yung Berg was arrested for attacking his girlfriend Masika, in a move his cast mates described as “out of character.”

Teairra Mari and Morgan made an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” where Morgan made more allegations against Ray’s character, claiming that he not only hit her on one occasion, but hits Princess nearly everyday which is one of the reasons they got into a fight at the reunion. Morgan was hurt Princess wouldn’t corroborate her abuse story and said. “I was trying to stop him from hitting Princess. That was my job to always cover things up.” She added, “I’m not the only one he hit and neither is Princess. I will say that.”

Teairra, who was in a relationship with Ray for nearly 10-years, said Ray never hit her. Morgan also makes it clear Ray has a problem. Teairra was particularly quiet and seemed bothered by something that she said she couldn’t reveal because it would give away the show.

Trina Calls French Montana A “Donkey”

French Montana may be happily dating Khloe Kardashian and that’s all fine and dandy, but what ever happened to Trina? French recently told Wendy Williams, Khloe will always be his baby then played down his relationship with rapper Trina, saying “Honestly, I was never a couple with Trina. I was just going through my divorce so I was just having fun with life,” said French. “I wasn’t in a mental space to be in a relationship. I can’t claim nobody after I was just going through a divorce.”

Well Trina wasn’t feeling French’s shade and went revealed details about their relationship on “The Breakfast Club.” “We really was not in a relationship, let’s be clear about that. I never told him ‘I was your girl,’” she said. “And there are a lot of reasons. I guess now you can see why because you just got a lot of growing up to do. He had a situation; he was going through a divorce.”

She added, “That was one of the reasons why I never really got into a relationship with him. I wanted that to be clear,” she continued. “But I was there with you every single day and every step of the way while you was dealing and going through that. I was the one who told you to step up to the plate like a man and make the right choice.”

Trina and French may not have been an official item, but they lived together. “It’s a little surprising when you’re living with somebody and they’re running around with somebody else. Out of respect, you don’t handle situations like that,” she said.

The ultimate message in Trina’s interview, ” “I was there and I don’t feel no bad ways about you. Just don’t be a donkey, cause you on some donkey sh*t.”

Jay Z Acquires Armand de Brignac Champagne A.K.A Ace Of Spades

In today’s “I’m richer than you” news, Jay Z acquired Armand de Brignac Champagne also known as the really expensive gold bottle no one besides Jay Z can afford. You’ve seen the luxurious drink in many of his videos or heard of by its other name, Ace Of Spades.

“We are proud to announce that Sovereign Brands, a New York-based wine and spirits company owned by the Berish family, has sold its interest in the Armand de Brignac (‘Ace of Spades’) Champagne brand to a new company led by the globally renowned Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter,” Sovereign Brands said in a statement.

“We have had a wonderful relationship with Jay Z throughout the years since he first discovered Armand de Brignac. He became interested in owning the brand and made us an offer we simply couldn’t refuse,” Yvonne Lardner, global director of brand communications for Sovereign, told The New York Times.

According to Rap-Up, “A bottle of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold sells for $300. A 30-liter bottle, which is equivalent to 40 regular bottles, retails for over $200,000.”

In other Jay Z news, the Roc Nation honcho was accused of stealing music from Joel Mac, a street peddler, who claims he sold his disc to a man named Mike Dean outside of the hotel Jay Z and Kanye West were recording their album “Watch The Throne.” Mac filed a federal lawsuit against Hov and Mac wants to be cut in on a portion of their profits. Good luck with that.

Antoine Dodson Prayed The Gay Away

 Antoine “Hide your kids, hide your wife” Dodson became an Internet star when his house was burglarized and his sister almost raped and news cameras caught filmed his response to the incident. Like most viral stars, Dodson’s 15-minutes of fame ran its course, but he’s been up to a lot since “The Bedroom Intruder” became a thing.

According to HipHollywood, Antoine, who was openly gay (we purposely say “was”) underwent a spiritual enlightenment process and renounced his sexuality after becoming a “true Chosen Hebrew Israelite descendant of Juda.” Sounds crazy right? Well, Antoine has since fathered a baby with his wife.

HH caught up with Antoine, who had this to say about his lifestyle change:

“The person that I’m with … We’ve known each other for six plus years. We were friends in the lifestyle, going to clubs and stuff like that. But the more we started to hang together we just actually started dating. Then we just did it, it just happened. We’ve been together ever since,” he explained.

“At the beginning it was like that. But anything, when there’s a change, you always have the memories of the old life,” he said. “I still hang with my friends. I still have my friends, I see their lifestyle and I’m like ‘oh it’s fun.’ But then I realize I love my family.”
