Boom Moment In Hip-Hop: Beanie Sigel Drops His Second Studio Album “The Reason”

14 years ago to the day, Philadelphia’s own Beanie Sigel dropped his second studio album, The Reason, under Roc-A-Fella Records. The album featured some of the regulars such as Memphis Bleek, Jay Z, Freeway, Omilio Sparks. He also recruited Scarface, Daz, Kurupt, and Rell to be featured on the album.
The album reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. The two hit singles were “Beanie (Mack B****)” and “Think It’s a Game“.
