The Power Of The Internet Connects Eminem And 10 Year Old Teejay

Eminem is one of the most influential and well know musicians of our life time. Millions of fans have reached out through letters, emails, social media, etc, but what are the chances Eminem actually receives any of these messages?

Well, because of the power of content going viral in today’s world, Teejay Stainer’s message was received by Em. Teejay was born without a calf bone in his right leg and eventually had to have his leg amputated. He credited Eminem’s music with making him feel “brave”. Today, at 10 years old, he does everything a normal kid that age would participate in.

After taking a chance and reaching out to Eminem on social media, behind the support of those online, helped the message go viral and eventually to Eminem.

Slim Shady responded by sending young Teejay an autographed copy of his 2010 album Recovery, with the message “To Teejay, I saw your pic and read your message! Thanks for the support!”
