Shanon Biles, the birth mother of Simone Biles, is asking her favorite daughter for another chance at their relationship.

On a new published interview, Shanon Biles address her relationship with Simone, and how she hopes on fixing it. The fallout between Simone and her mother started at a young age, due to her mother’s drug addiction. Simone and her younger sister were eventually adopted by their maternal grandfather and his second wife. Her older siblings were adopted by their grandfather’s sister.

Due to damage in their relationship, Shanon Biles has missed big events for Simone Biles life, including her wedding and the Olympic Games.

Shanon also released that although her recovery journey is a daily battle, she is now clean and isn’t the person she used to be. She also mentioned that Simones biological father would love to get into contact with her as well.
