Owners of the new Tesla Cybertruck have had to deal with a number of recalls.

Tesla is recalling more than 27,000 Cybertrucks earlier in the week. This makes it the fifth recall on the truck within one singular year.

Reports claim that the update is due to the rearview camera not activating immediately after shifting into reverse. Tesla has released new software for free for owners to upgrade their vehicles.

Although the truck is only a year old, Cybertruck owners have had to deal with a series of recalls ever since the truck went on sale. In June, there was a recall to fix problems with trim pieces that can come loose. There were also problems with the front windshield wipers failing to activate. Two months later, the truck was recalled because the accelerator pedal was not working properly.

In their most recent recall, Tesla notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration telling them the display screen was delaying for 8 seconds after the car was in reverse. The U.S. requires that screen to revert to normal after 2 seconds out of reverse.
