On Wednesday, Amazon debuted a new online shopping service called Amazon Haul that is supposed to help the e-commerce compete with Chinese retailers.

Retailers such as Temu and SHEIN are both known for having items at a ridiculously cheap price. With Amazon Haul, it is supposed to focus on selling items for $20 or less. The name Amazon Haul is a play on social media “hauls” where people show off their purchases. Amazon representatives said the new service is available in its shopping app and mobile website.

“Amazon Haul is response to both the rise of low-price Chinese marketplace and the fact that consumers are increasingly seeking value for money as they try to make their budgets stretch futher,” said Neil Saunders, managing director of market research firm GlobalData.

The delivery times for items coming from Amazon Haul are longer than regular Amazon items, with the company noting that the goods are delivered within one to two weeks. The goal of Amazon Haul is to target younger shoppers and raise the risk that the low-cost shopping site could cannibalize sales from Amazons main site.
