The Philadelphia Eagles have teamed up with three local animal shelters in efforts to help regulate their overflowing campuses by finding them a new home.
Providence Animal Center, Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, and Street Tails Animal Rescue, have all been selected to partner with the Eagles as they continue their playoff run.
According to their Eagles website, they “want to make sure all Eagles fans have the opportunity to adopt their own Dawg Mentality.”
The Eagles are covering all adoption fees at the following shelters:
- Street Tails in Philadelphia, PA
- Providence Animal Center in  Media, PA
- Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center in Blackwood, NJ.

Participants are not required to purchase a dog, as each shelters do have cats, as well as other animals available for adoption.
Fees can range from $295 for senior dogs, up to $500 for dogs 0-9 years. These fees cover animals shelter services such as: spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, and vet evaluations. Adopters receive essentials like a crate (if available), food, leash, collar, harness, and donated extras. STAR guarantees every returned dog always has a home.
