Philadelphia Eagles Dominate Kansas City Chiefs to Win Super Bowl LIX

The Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs in a decisive 40-22 victory to become Super Bowl LIX Champions.

Winning their second Super Bowl in franchise history, the Eagles have one of the most accomplished winning resumes, exacting revenge on two of the best quarterbacks to ever play NFL history in Tom Brady, and now Patrick Mahommes.

“We can’t rewrite history, but we can make it even” A.J. Brown told reporters.

The best unit of the game was the Eagles’ defensive line. Kansas City’s offense had no answer for the Eagles’ pass rush. Mahomes was sacked six times, and threw two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown by the Birthday boy (Feb. 9) Cooper DeJean.

Kansas City defense on their other hand was outplayed, and was no match for Kellen Moore’s offensive scheme. We might have not gotten the 200 yard, two-touchdown game that we’ve been accustomed to all season from our franchise running back Saqoun Barkley, but the Eagles offense was fully capable of moving the chains through the air, getting both our star wide recievers (A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith) into the endzone.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl LIX MVP, with 221 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 72 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown.

“I think I couldn’t do any of these things without the guys around me. You know, we got a special group this year, we were able to learn from the past and get over that hump.”
