A Montgomery County corner will soon serve as the front line in the convince store wars of Southeastern Pennsylvania. between Sheetz and Wawa.

Sheetz, an Altoona-based convince store, has now proposed to build a store in Montgomery County.

Alot like Wawa, Sheetz convenience stores are open 24/7 year-round offering made-to-order fast food. Most stores include a gas station, while a few locations are full-scale truck stops, offering showers and a laundromat.

The proposed new store and fueling center would be located at the busy intersection of Ridge Pike and Swamp Pike in Limerick Township., ironically on the same block as an existing Wawa.
