The Philadelphia 76ers are seemingly back in rebuild mode, and this time, the organization seems to be more realistic about ‘the process’.

Over the past week, Sixers tickets have been the cheapest they’ve ever been in franchise history, starting off at $1.

This price drop comes after the news that superstar Center Joel Embiid was ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a lingering knee injury. Some fans are bummed the won’t get to see the face of the franchise for the remainder of the year, but others are optimistic that Embiid will use this time productively to come back better than ever.

“It’s kinda a relief now wondering if he’s gonna play or not. Hopefully, he gets his mind right and comes back stronger. People are writing him off, end of an era, who knows,” said Anthony Turchi of South Philadelphia.

Although fans are not pleased with the teams current performance, a family night in section 101 for under $100 is an unbeatable deal.

“It’s a great experience whether we’re doing well or great or not. It’s still a nice outing for a family and hoping more enjoy that,” Sixers fan Alannah Fleet told Action News.

The Sixers have lost nine of their last ten games, and currently sit 18 games below .500 with a record of 21-39.

Despite such a subpar start, all hope is not lost for the Sixers, sitting in 12th place, they only sit four games behind the 10th place Chicago Bulls. With a little over 20 games left in the season, there’s still plenty of time for the Sixers to at least make a play-in tournament appearance in  this year

\Winning two out of the three matchups so far this season against Chicago, the Sixers will face the Bulls in the final game of the season  April 13th at the Wells Fargo Center.
