Kentucky Child Orders 70,000 Lolipops Costing $4,000

You may of though a family in Kentucky was trying to turn their home to the next Willy Wonka factory. Instead, the family was suprised when stacks of lolipop boxes showed up at their front doorstep.
Holly LaFavers says she tried stopping her 8 year old son Liam from ordering 70,000 Dum-Dum lolipops from Amazon, but she was too late. Amazon has already delivered 22 cases to her home.
“He told me that he wanted to have a carnival, and he was ordering the Dum-Dums as prizes for his carnival,” said LaFavers. “Again, he was being friendly, he was being kind to his friends.” The suprise order got worse after a quick check to her bank account. She paid around $4,000 for the total order.
“When I saw what the number was, I just about fainted,” LaFavers said. Luckily Amazon was about to fully refund her the $4,000 and her bank is also waiving the fees. However, the bank did give her a little bit of trouble trying to make sense of the situation.
“After a long day of working with the bank and talking to a few news stations, Amazon called and they are refunding my money,” she said in a social media post.
And after all of that, Liam still has no lolipops and now mom has changed her phone settings so this won’t happen again.
