The Dell Music Center saw a rainy night of old soulful tunes Thursday (Aug. 9).
The show started with Philadelphia’s own Carol Riddick who sang hits from her album Moments Like This. She also payed homage to another Philadelphia legend in Jill Scott with her rendition of “A Long Walk”.

Gladys Knight came to the stage looking amazing. Knight gave glimpses of her entire catalog, from her Gladys Knight & The Pips days with “Midnight train to Georgia” and “If I were your woman” to the solo hits later in her career.

The Isley brother brought it home with some of their fan favorites including “For the Love of You”, “Groovy with you” and “Choosey Lover”. Ron even let a couple ladies in the crowd sing to him while Ernie strung up some solos.
